[dt. »Bildschirmbuch«], ein Text, der nicht in gedruckter Form, sondern auf Datenträger vorliegt (z. B. CD-ROM) und auf dem Bildschirm benutzt wird. Screenbooks eignen sich besonders für Nachschlagewerke, da diese durch ihre digitale Form regelmäßig aktualisiert werden können und auch bessere Suchmöglichkeiten bieten als ein Print-Werk.
